This is a unique opportunity to be the first hire in this role, setting the foundation for our partnership strategy, working in lockstep with the Partner Solutions Architect.
Strategic Partnership Managers are an integral part of building Calibo’s Partner program; they are responsible for growing the relationships with partner and SI’s, while also building the solutions and technical assets and helping craft our overall strategy.
Please note this is a sales position that sits under Revenue.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary liaison between Calibo and our partners (Technology and SI), ensuring effective communication and alignment.
- Maintain regular communication with partners, addressing inquiries, gathering requirements, and ensuring their needs are understood and met.
- Collaborate with partner teams to create and execute joint business plans.
- Identify new opportunities via marketing, sales, and product innovation for collaboration and innovation to enhance partnerships.
- Provide training and resources to external sales teams to effectively sell and support our solutions.
- Identify and recruit new strategic SI partners to expand our ecosystem.
- Coordinate with cross-functional internal teams to ensure seamless collaboration and alignment on partner-related activities.
- Represent Calibo at events and attend in-person conferences a few times a year.
- Track, analyse, and build upon partner success metrics, identifying and resolving bottlenecks, while also monitoring and reporting on partner project progress, risks, and issues to senior management.
- Develop a strong understanding of partner processes, systems, and methodologies to facilitate effective collaboration.
- Handle the administrative running of day-to-day partner requests, including documentation, follow-ups, and coordination of resources.
Qualifications:
- Experience & strong relationships with Snowflake and its ecosystem
- 3+ years of experience in business development, strategic alliances, or channel sales at a SaaS organisation, ideally in the data industry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Keen attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent at building and maintaining relationships internally as well as with partners and prospects.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of taking initiatives from ideation to impact.

- Experience & strong relationships with AWS and its ecosystem.
